      Magdalen House, is a Norfolk Brick and Flint cottage built in 1829 and retains many original features. It is situated in the former Anglo Saxon settlement of 'Buntings' and boasts a quiet environment, range of wildlife and rural setting. It is within 5 miles of Oxburgh Hall (National Trust), Gooderstone Water Gardens and the Iceni Village in the heart of West Norfolk, an area famed for its ancient churches, windmills and village signs.

The area is central for exploring the historic towns of King's Lynn, Swaffham, Ely, Norwich, Bury St. Edmunds and Cambridge, and for visiting Sandringham, Norfolk Lavender, Pensthorpe Waterfowl Park and Thetford Forest, amongst many other places of interest.

      West Norfolk is excellent for cycling, bird watching, fishing and rambling. We can offer storage for cycles, and packed lunches can be provided on request.
